Go green - go Jancke !

Sustainability is an important issue within our corporate philosophy.

As an environmental partner of  the "Hansestadt Hamburg our company has been "Ökoprofit"
certified for many years.

Since 2011 we are an ordinary member of the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil)
and purchse all palmoil quantities in segregated (SG) quality. Any palm derivates as well as
palm fractions are being consumed in mass balance (MB) quality.

Furthermore we set up a heat-controlled CHP plant in 2011, producing heat for various internal
processes such as heating of our facility. With an absorption refrigeration system, heat is additionally
converted into chilled water which is used for cooling storge areas as well as our production lines.
Electricity produced during this process is used for internal operations.
In overall, we are reducing our CO₂ emissions by around 40%.

Currently we are working on our certification for UTZ certified cocoa.
